SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH SEVERE AND PERSISTENT MENTAL ILLNESSES In today's climate of mental health budget cuts and psychiatric hospital closures, many individuals and families living with mental illnesses are concerned about the future of psychiatric treatment services in Central Illinois. Tazwood Mental Health Center is proud to offer a broad range of specialized outpatient and residential services to individuals with severe mental illnesses such as major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. While our services are not direct substitutes for inpatient hospital treatment, they may assist people with serious mental disorders in improving their overall stability and independence.
