Mission Statement

The mission of Tazwood Mental Health Center, Inc. is to improve the health of the community through the provision of mental health and behavioral health services to adults, youth and children of Tazewell, Woodford, Peoria and surrounding counties.  These practices will be evidence and performance based along with being sensitive to cultural and linguistic needs of consumers. 

Vision Statement

We are committed to relieving the emotional pain and to improving the quality of life of the residents of Tazewell, Woodford, Peoria and surrounding Counties.  It is also our belief that the quality of human life and potential for growth is the result of the continual effects of the individual upon his/her community and the community’s effect upon the individual.  The Tazwood Mental Health Center, Inc. will be responsive to the needs of both the individual and the community.  Providing this personalized approach will ensure that all individuals have the maximum opportunity to become emotionally healthy and productive citizens.
